Salty Peaks is located in the East Millcreek area of Salt Lake City. We are nestled between Parley’s and the Cottonwood Canyons at the base of the Wasatch Mountains. We are only minutes away from the best snow on earth, and world class resorts like Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Park City, and the Canyons. Our History
Salty Peaks was founded in October 1987 by Dennis Nazari and a group of dedicated snowboarders and skateboarders. Salty Peaks was Utah’s first “snowboard specialty shop,” and has always supported all aspects of snowboarding regardless of how popular or cool it was. Salty Peaks has supported the evolution of snowboarding from its early beginnings and prototypes to present day technology and future innovations.
Services We Offer
We sell discount lift tickets to Utah resorts and we have perhaps the best selection of quality snowboard rentals in Utah. Our skilled technicians can tune your board up so it rides like new. We can even take your old snowboard and turn it into a splitboard.

Utah Snowboard Museum
Salty Peaks is home to the Utah Snowboard Museum. With over 1,000 vintage snowboards and skateboards on display, it is the largest private collection of snowboards in the world.
