The Other Side Of The Story with Karen Stewart – Banshee Bungee Debate

I can’t say I ever expected as much feedback as I have received from this recent Banshee Bungee blog post. From re-posts and 2-cents from the High Life Crew, to tons of hits off reddit.com, to being contacted by the mother in the news story, Ms. Karen Stewart. I have to admit, I was initially nervous when I saw I had a message from Ms. Stewart. I figured it would be a full on angry rant about how I’m just some dumb punk who doesn’t know any better, much like the lovely phone call I received from the “overlord” of and only-person-who-cares-about Bungee Boards. However, I could not have been more wrong. Karen was incredibly pleasant to talk to and very level-headed for how angry I imagine she was at me. Over the course of our communication, I informed her that I merely wanted to start a debate and let people know about a relevant issue in our industry, and that I would be happy to share her side of the story… so here it is. The following is everything her and her family have been dealing with along with some excellent words of wisdom. Just a heads up, I did include a couple graphic injury pictures that Karen sent me.
