At Salty Peaks we are proud to offer a 60-day satisfaction guarantee on all products purchased online at saltypeaks.com. We understand that shopping online can sometimes be difficult, and you don't know if a product is going to work for you until you have it in your hands. Within 60 days of purchase, we will accept returns on new, unused items.
The Details:
- Full refund will be issued if the item is returned to us within 30 days of purchase
- Full store credit will be issued if the item is returned to us within 60 days of purchase
- After 60 days, returns may be accepted at our discretion. No returns on sale items after 60 days. All returns received after 60 days without a return authorization number will not be accepted. If we accept your item after 60 days, you will get store credit for the purchase amount minus a 10% restocking fee, or at the lowest current promotional price, whichever is lower.
- All items must be unused, unworn, and in new condition with the original packaging, all parts, and all tags attached. See product-specific conditions below.
- Shipping charges are not refundable.
- We do not accept returns on international orders. If you are ordering from outside the US, please be advised that we will not accept returns.
- We reserve the right to deny your return or charge a restocking fee of up to 50% at our discretion if an item is returned not in new condition, missing parts or packaging, or without a return authorization number.
- Items purchased in person at our retail location are subject to the in-store return policy. Please see store for details.
Product-Specific Conditions:
- Snowboards - may not have been ridden or had bindings mounted on them and all stickers must still be in place
- Boots / bindings / shoes - the manufacturer's box may not be used for return shipping and must be in its original condition - no labels, writing, tape, etc
- DVD's - shrink wrap must be unopened
- Boots / shoes - may not have been worn outside or have signs of use including foot odor
- Clothing - must be clean and free of dirt, makeup, pet hair, odors, etc

How do I make a return?
Please contact us at service@saltypeaks.com for a return authorization number. This number must be written on the outside of the box and on the invoice.
All returns must include
the original tags, manufacturer packaging, and the original invoice.
Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, unless a mistake was made by saltypeaks.com. We will cover the cost to return and reship to you any item that was misshipped due to a mistake in our direct control. In order to be reimbursed, you must contact us first for a return authorization.
We are not responsible for items we do not receive or for items that are damaged in shipping. Therefore, we suggest that you use a trackble and insured shipping method. You may also return items at our retail location in Salt Lake City with proof of purchase.

How do I make an exchange?
The easiest way to make an exchange is to place a new order for the item you want in exchange. You will be charged for the new item and we will ship it right away. Then send back the item you want to return. Once we receive the return, we will refund the original purchase.
If you don't want to place a new order, you may contact us and let us know what you want in exchange. However, we will not ship the new item until we receive the return, and we cannot guarantee that the item you want will still be available at that time. We will not hold products for exchange.
We will contact you if you have a balance due on the exchange.

Do you charge a restocking fee?
We no longer charge a restocking fee for products that are received within 60 days of purchase in new condition with all tags, packaging, and parts in accordance to our return policy. Items that are received in violation of our policy are subject to a restocking fee at our discretion.

When will my payment be refunded?
We will refund your payment once we have received your return. We are not responsible for items we do not receive. Therefore, we suggest that you use a trackable and/or insured shipping method. All refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.

What is your warranty policy?
Most products we sell at SaltyPeaks.com are covered by warranties from the manufacturer. Warranties generally cover manufacturer's defects, not damage from abuse or misuse of the product. Eligibility of warranties is at the discretion of the manufacturer, not Salty Peaks.
If we feel that you have a legitimate warranty claim, we will give you store credit for a replacement once we receive the item. Otherwise, we will work with you to file a claim with the manufacturer and you may be required to pay for shipping.

I received the wrong item or a damaged item
Please contact us immediately for a return authorization. We will send you a pre-paid return label by email and cover the cost to ship you the correct item. In order to be reimbursed, you must contact us first for a return authorization.
