Rome SDS Artifact Snowboard [2013]

Rome SDS Artifact Snowboard

Additional Views: (colors may be different than pictured)

Rome has done it again! The SDS brought back the sickest jib board, the gnarliest rail killer, and the best lady swooner in the game! The Rome Artifact Snowboard comes stacked with the latest and greatest tech including glass single barrel Hot Rods for next level pop, QuickRip sidecut for amazing edgehold, and Glass Impact Plates for absorbing landings and icy park chatter. If Indiana Jones found the Rome Artifact Snowboard in the Temple of Doom, he'd definitely take it instead of the Sacred Stones.

Please Note:

- Snowboard base graphics may vary.

- We are a small store and don't ship from a warehouse.  Many of our snowboards are display models and may show minor cosmetic wear from being handled by customers.  This could include small scratches or scuffs on the topsheet or evidence of fingerprints.  We will always contact you if there is damage that is more than cosmetic such as any damage to the base or edges.  Please contact us if you have a question about the condition of a particular board.  Thank you for supporting core shops!

Camber:    Cambered
Recommended Use:    Freestyle
Shape:    True Twin
Flex:    Softer

Rome designs with positive camber because many snowboarders prefer the super responsive, high-pop feel that only it can deliver. From most of their team riders to shop kids in the Syndicate, a ton of riders will strap into nothing else than positive camber for the entire running length.

Skate Style Above All Else

Boards that prefer to spend 90% of their time in the park or dodging security at the local college campus.  With soft flex profiles and geometries geared towards playfulness, the main course for these boards are rails, ledges, boxes and wall rides.  That lineup for the fun box with a ton of riders waiting for their turn?  You’ll see a bunch of these press-happy, get-loose decks in that crew.

HotRods:  Glass Single Barrel— A glass rod milled into the core under the bindings and out towards the nose and tail; providing quick snappy pop for a fast response.

QuickRip Sidecut : Advanced sidecut geometry giving a short playful feel at slower speeds and a longer fast, stable feel at higher speeds.  The Mid-Board contact points end the running length at slow speeds and add grip at high speeds.

Glass Impact Plates:   Lightweight and ready to deliver. This high-end glass can absorb energy to strengthen the board from binding backlash.

Impact Base: Rails, rocks, and trees mean nothing to this base. Constructed of the strongest abrasion-resistant compound, this advanced extruded technology with a high density structure holds up to a full season beating.

StraightBiax Laminate: Designed for the fun and creative rider, this laminate has a forgiving response through presses, jumps, and jibs—integrated into our freestyle boards with the intention of supporting the natural flex.

Impact Core Matrix: Composite is the new take on wood, and this 40% wood fiber material extends the durability of the core, is more environmentally conscious, and smooth through the flex.  Designed to create the feel and strength of the Artifact and Artifact Rocker.

Never be sorry for partying! The artifact has been for favorite park board for years and this one is no different! I love that they put quikrip on this cambered board, it makes it super stable at speed even though its on the softer side. I would highly recommend this board for all types of riders, even all-mountain!
