Burton Family Tree Spliff Splitboard [2013]

Burton Family Tree Spliff Splitboard

Additional Views: (colors may be different than pictured)

The Burton Family Tree Spliff Splitboard is the future of splitboards. Thanks to Nug Raduction, ride the Spliff 8-10cm shorter than you normally would without losing float or stability. Plus, Burton rolled in S-Rocker and 5mm of taper to eliminate that back leg burn, while a delicious mix of Squeezebox, Side Effects, and Pro-Tip gives this Spliff all the power, drive, and response you would need to send cliffs and dodge trees. Find the dankest lines on the Burton Family Tree Spliff Splitboard.

Please Note:

- Snowboard base graphics may vary.

- We are a small store and don't ship from a warehouse.  Many of our snowboards are display models and may show minor cosmetic wear from being handled by customers.  This could include small scratches or scuffs on the topsheet or evidence of fingerprints.  We will always contact you if there is damage that is more than cosmetic such as any damage to the base or edges.  Please contact us if you have a question about the condition of a particular board.  Thank you for supporting core shops!

Burton Feel Rating: 5

Nug Raduction Level 10: This optimizes every element – from waist width and flex profile to sidecut and running length – letting you downsize 8-10cm from your normal board length. Light and lively, easy to throw around, surprisingly floaty, poppy, and stable at speed.

S-Rocker: Regular camber starts behind your back foot, extends to just under your front foot, then rockers up a lot in the nose for effortless float and to eliminate that back leg burn.

Super Fly II Core: Stronger and lighter wood target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduce weight. Further optimized for float in Burton’s freeride focused boards, and strength in their park-focused boards.

Dualzone EGD: The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.

Triax Fiberglass: Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.

Sintered Base: Durable and highly porous, get added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide.

10:45 Sidewalls: Aggressive rippers take note. 10:45’s extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in bomber impact absorption.

Squeezebox: Improves performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from where it originates beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board more stable and easily manipulated.

Pro-Tip: A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

Side Effects: Lengthening the surface area at the tip and tail contact points improves edge-hold and allows the board to plane easier in powder. Enjoy a livelier feel and enhanced grip on groomers along with added float for overhead days.

Infinite Ride: This Burton-exculsive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite RideTM your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Microfinish: Every board Burton makes is waxed, buffed, finessed, and shred-ready before leaving the factory. Their Microfinish process involves over 30 finishing steps, including an edge tune and detune, that puts the right amount of sharpness and bevel on each board to ensure the perfect finish for all riding styles and conditions.

Enduro Waxing Process: After Microfinishing comes Enduro Waxing. Each board is waxed and hot-buffed for a shiny, super fast ride right out of the shop.
