Brighton Resort is teaming up with the Road Home Homeless Shelter in a very worthwhile cause. Tomorrow at Brighton you can get a $20 lift ticket for the day if you bring a warm coat, new pair of warm socks or a new pair of gloves for a homeless person in need. This is super cool of Brighton and they are making it easy to do the right thing during this cold Holiday season. You know when I am outside all day in the winter and the cold really sinks into my bones I always think about the fact that the only thing that will warm me up is a hot shower – and then I think about the fact that the homeless people living on the streets don’t have that option. So please don’t skimp just to get a cheap lift ticket. You have the opportunity to make sure someone less fortunate than you is as warm as could be and as an added bonus you get to save a ton of money on a day of snowboarding. Remember the deal is for tomorrow only, December 12, and if you miss that day you will have one more opportunity to help the needy on December 19th. Check the flyer for details.
