The Mind Expander Split features a Christenson Surf Rocker profile, combining a rockered nose that starts just inside the front inserts and a rockered tail that begins right at the back inserts. This profile delivers exceptional float in deep powder, allowing you to effortlessly navigate untouched terrain with a surfy feel. The blunted nose further enhances float and prevents unwanted drag in deep snow.
For confident carving and stability in variable conditions, the board features a camber section underfoot. Traction Tech 1.0 edges on the inner and outer edges provide enhanced grip on icy skin tracks and firm descents, ensuring reliable edge hold when you need it most. The short sidecut allows for snappy and nimble turns, perfect for navigating tight trees and varied backcountry terrain.
Built for efficient touring and a solid connection on the way down, the Mind Expander Split utilizes the Bolt-less Bridge construction, which eliminates base bolts and creates a tighter connection between the two halves using upgraded Karakoram Ultra Clips. The Quick Tension Tail Clip integrates seamlessly with Jones’ climbing skins, providing secure attachment without the need for traditional tail clips.
