The Globe Prowler is the ideal introductory budget speedboard, and I'll tell you why. The shape lends itself to more leverage and turning bias in the front, having your steering biased towards the front allows the back to track instead of turn, just like a car. Having heavy taper in the rear also allows the rider to have more edge control while in a speed stance, or a tuck as most call it. The dropthrough mounting is stable by design, it lowers the ride height of the board and gets your center of gravity closer to the ground.
