Description
Bern Watts Hard Hat Snowboard Helmet
The Bern Watts Hard Hat helmet is a non-certified soft foam helmet; it's not designed to take extreme, life threatening impacts, but rather to absorb lower speed impacts that a traditional EPS foam helmet wouldn't necessarily do much to protect against. If aren't charging hard and bonk the noggin ocassionally, then the hard hat is the perfect option for you since you don't need to replace it everytime you got rocked. Stay safe out there, and if you aren't sure whether the Hard Hat will offer enough protection for what you do, just play it safe and get the Watts EPS helmet.

Description
The original visor helmet serves up a unique style with comfort and protection so whether you’re on your board, bike, the slopes, or in the water, the Watts, will have a model to match your needs.
The HardHat simply put is not certified, it's not a helmet, it is a hard hat.
SO why do you want that, you ask? Why does it exist?
Designed for multiple lower impacts that often occur at lower speeds, this style is popular among the skating and snow community. The softer foam makes the helmet more comfortable and favorable to those new to wearing head protection and/or who is wearing it with an end use that is performed at lower speeds with multiple lower impacts. The HardHat model is not certified and uses an AVS shell lined with soft moisture wicking Brock Foam that may not meet your standards but does serve a purpose for others.
