According to ye Old Farmer’s Almanac, this season is gonna be pushing snow like Columbia in the 80’s! Now, the Farmer’s Almanac is still only predicting the weather and as we know nowadays the weather is very unpredictable but, the Almanac is usually right every 7-10 years so let’s go with wishful thinking and think that this year is one of those where they have nailed it head on.
This is what the Almanac says about the 2013-2014 winter season.
“Winter will be much snowier than normal, with near-normal rainfall. The snowiest periods will be in late November, early and mid-December, mid- and late January, mid-February, and early March. Temperatures will be below normal in the north and near normal in the south, with the coldest periods in mid-December, mid- and late January, and in early to mid-February.”
