We are stoked to announce that we are carrying the 2013 line of Barfoot Longboards. For many of you the Barfoot name might be new, but it’s actually one of the oldest brands in the board scene. Chuck Barfoot started designing snowboards and skateboards for SIMS back in 1978, and was an integral part in the design and testing process. In 1981, he set out on his own and started Barfoot, a skate company that revolutionized the design of the skateboard in the 80’s. He is still building on his original concept and his 2013 line is a beautiful as it is functional. If you are a snowboarder as well as a longboarder you will see that the 2013 Barfoot line uses rocker technology as well as flat rail-to-rail. Many of the new decks also use bamboo for strength with flex usually sandwiched with fiberglass or Canadian maple.
