Every time I see a girl on a longboard I just have to stop and give her a high 5. When you pick up a long or short skateboard you have to know there is a chance of falling, scraping your knees, embedding asphalt into your palms, and potentially ending up in a cast. That knocks out most men and women right there. But do to societal standards of beauty, I feel like it knocks out more women than men. That’s why I have compiled an homage to all the badass ladies out there who know how fun it is to skate, scars be damned! Here’s to you, lovely ladies of longboarding!!!
