Utah Snowboard / Skateboard Museum Photos

Many of y’all who have had the opportunity to come into the shop have probably noticed all the vintage snowboards and skateboards decorating the walls as well as the ceiling of Salty Peaks. What a lot of you don’t realize is the owner, Dennis Nazari, is trying to establish the Utah Snowboard Museum. Dennis has been a part of the Utah Snowboard scene since day 1, in fact, Dennis is the person who petitioned the resorts in Utah to allow snowboarders in the first place! Working here is like working in a snow/skate time machine where all you have to do is look up and admire how far we have come since day one. Today’s post is highlighting some vintage skateboards that caught my eye. Gotta respect the Bart Simpson complete!

Bruce Lee used to be huge! I think it’s time for a comeback. Bruce Lee has class – no one wants to ride a Jackie Chan skateboard.

Here’s a really old school skateboard! 30 years ago you had no idea you would be pursued by cops for skating!

Looking back, naming your brand “rinky dink” was probably a bad idea.

Another dope Simpsons board!

Heroes on the half shell! Turtle Power!

This will be my next tattoo…

I think it would be entirely possible with the magic of eBay to live your life head to toe inside and out in Coca-Cola swag.

Now this skateboard is OLD!!!

Hey Boss Man! Nice legs!

My mom had a friend who did graphic design for NASH and he made me a custom one of a kind skateboard graphic with a shark and my name on it when I was a kid. Unfortunately NASH was such a wack brand that I got made fun of every time I rode it. Kids are dicks.

Speaking of Shark Skateboards!

Come by the shop and take a look at the hundreds of other amazing skateboards and snowboards!!
