Alice Glass ladies and gentlemen.
A lot of sick shows have been rolling through the Salty Valley, and most recently was the epic, electronic, and eclectic sound of Crystal Castles. Libby, Andrew aka Mop, and myself attended this show the other night at one of my favorite venues, In The Venue in downtown Salt Lake City.
Great turnout.
If you enjoy the wild, atmospheric vibe of Crystal Castles’ recorded songs, you NEED to see them live. Vocalist Alice Glass has a haunting yet energetic stage presence that immediately sucks you into the show. As my partner in crime Mop stated, “She’s like a dark witch lady!”

Ethan Kath, the DJ if you will, has a stone-cold, emotionless expression on his face throughout the performance that perfectly compliments the sounds and styles of Miss Glass. It’s tough to really do their stage presence justice through pictures, but hopefully these are helping to set the tone.
