Tommy Carroll has been blind since age 2 when he was diagnosed with cancer of the retinas. Luckily he survived this and continued to live the life he wanted. This included skateboarding, and I’m not talking about pushing in the driveway, I’m talking about shredding a bowl!

I was thinking about how awesome it is that this kid can skate in pitch darkness. I just wonder how different his brain is thinking about transitions and stuff. It just shows how impressive the human brain is.
