I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I have the utmost respect for women’s snowboarding. In an industry completely dominated by dudes and bros alike, there is an emerging presence of females who rip better than most guys on the mountain. Among this movement is some ladies who found a home in Utah and have been absolutely killing it. Madison Blackley, Grace Mayernik, Nirvana Ortanez, Isabella Borriello, and Corinne Pasela spent some time at the now destroyed BoneZone (RIP), a staple preseason spot in the local scene, stacking shots and proving how far women’s snowboarding has come. I also have to give a huge shout out to my roommate and great friend, Amanda Hankison, for not only slaying on a snowboard but for being the talent behind the lens and capturing the progression.
