Every year, our good friends at Chill SLC throw our favorite event of the winter known as ShredFest. They are switching up the style this season, so I’ll let the fearless leader of Chill’s Salt Lake Chapter, Zac Barnes, explain the details:
“Chill’s annual ShredFest is our signature event each season. We are doing something different this year with an all-inclusive bus trip to Powder Mountain! Pow Mow is a little farther for those of us who live in the Salt Lake Valley than some other resorts, but it’s some of the best terrain in all of Utah! With over 7000+ acres to ride as well as the Burton Qualifiers going on the same day, every person who comes along is going to have a blast no matter what! All you have to do is sign up and raise $120 in support of Chill SLC. 100% of the proceeds go directly to supporting our winter snowboarding program here in Salt Lake! The best part is that you are going to get some awesome stuff just for riding with a bunch of great people. Not only do you get the bus ride up and a lift ticket for the day, but you also get lunch, a gift bag from our sponsors, and your choice of a Smith Optics helmet or goggles! Anyone who raises any additional money over the $120 minimum using our peer-to-peer site, which is the registration page, also gets entered into a raffle for gifts from Burton, Smith, Anon, Power Practical, and more! There will also be prizes for the person with the most donors, the largest single donation, the raddest outfit of the day, and whatever other fun stuff Chill cooks up! Basically, for $120 you will get a crazy amount of awesome stuff and a chance to win even more awesome stuff, all while snowboarding at one of Utah’s best resorts with some really rad people. Definitely worth it.
