Secure and ready for the entire mountain.”  The Burton Step-On is the quickest, most responsive Boot-To-Binding interface on the market today.  Retail shops and online stores around the world are sold out of every size in all models that Burton makes, we are also limited in all sizes so do not sleep on this decision.  To answer some questions you may have about the Step-On system.

1. How does it work?

• Using similar technology to what we have been using in our traditional strap buckles for years, the Step On binding locks your boot into the binding without the need for straps. Three connection points – two by the toe and one at the heel.

1. How do I get in?

• Step into the binding with the heel cleat aimed at the heel clip. Once the heel clicks twice, press down with your toes and engage the toe cleats.

1. Is it secure? Will I pop out of the bindings?

• There are three points of connection between your Step On boots and bindings. The primary retention comes from the connection between the boot heel cleat and bindings heel clip. Once this is engaged you are fully locked into the system. The secondary retention is secured through the toe cleats and toe hooks.

1. How do I get out?

• When you are ready to get out you pull the release lever up, let go (leaving the lever up) and step out of the binding. The easiest motion is a twist and pull.

1. Can I mount my Step-On system to any board?

• Yes, Burton gives you two sets of discs and hardware, one set for The Channel, and a second set for the traditional 4×4 pattern

1. How is response compared to a traditional system?

• Step On offers the fastest boot binding integration, but unlike previous systems, it delivers the same performance you would expect from a traditional strap binding system.

1. Is it comfortable?

• The boot is made from the same construction found in all Burton boots, ensuring equal flex, feel, and comfort.
