The Push Frosty Sketch “First Push” (FP) Complete is a technical entry-level skateboard specifically engineered to help beginners overcome the most common hurdles of learning to ride. Part of the “First Push” series, this complete features components that are scaled and tuned for easier turning, improved stability, and maximum confidence.
First Push (FP) Technical Scaling: Unlike standard adult completes, the FP series is designed with geometry that is proportional to newer or smaller riders. This includes a tailored concave that makes foot placement more intuitive.
7-Ply Maple Construction: Built with 100% premium North American Maple. This provides a professional-grade foundation that is significantly more durable and responsive than the birch decks often found in entry-level boards.
Canon Trucks with Soft Bushings: Equipped with technical trucks featuring high-rebound, soft bushings. This is a critical detail for beginners, as it allows the board to turn and carve with very little weight—solving the “stiff board” problem that makes learning to steer difficult.
51mm 95A Wheels: Features a slightly softer wheel formula (95A) compared to pro-grade street wheels (99A-101A). This provides a smoother, more forgiving roll over cracks and rougher pavement while maintaining enough hardness for park riding.
Optional Soft Top EVA Grip: Many “Frosty Sketch” models feature a neoprene/EVA foam “Soft Top” instead of traditional sandpaper grip tape. This allows beginners to practice balance and knee-paddling without skin irritation or ruining their clothes.
