Description
Shaped by the dream terrain of the Alps, the all-new 2027 Burton Family Tree Time Thief blends big-mountain control with an exceptionally nimble, playful feel. Engineered to balance high-speed confidence with lower-speed creativity, it differs from deep-taper freeride decks like the Hometown Hero by utilizing a much more mellow 5mm taper and a larger sidecut radius. This unique combination allows the board to thread tight tree lines or snap off natural features effortlessly, while holding a longer edge contact arc and maintaining switch-riding capability.
Built with a directional camber profile, it packs snappy traditional camber under both feet for stability and edge hold, paired with an early-rise rockered nose that lifts naturally through soft snow and variable chunder. Backed by Burton’s Balanced Freeride Geometry, it centers your stance on the sidecut to deliver a highly agile, twin-like feel when riding flat-based on resort hardpack, while retaining the effortless directional float you need when dipping off-piste. Hand-built with the lightweight Super Fly II 700G Core, Triax fiberglass, and a lightning-fast Sintered WFO base, this freeride-focused deck turns the entire mountain into an all-mountain playground for intermediate-to-advanced riders.
