The 2027 Burton Step On Splitboard Bindings bring strapless speed and on-demand convenience directly to backcountry touring. Built upon the reliable foundation of the Spark R&D Tesla T1 baseplate system, this specialized setup completely replaces standard ankle and toe straps with Burton’s secure three-point Step On interface. By omitting bulkier traditional strap parts, it speeds up transitions in freezing weather while saving valuable space when packing gear.

Designed strictly for human-powered travel, the injection-molded highback features a specialized Step On Split Quick FLAD™. This system allows you to spin the adjuster out to access a negative forward lean touring setting, maximizing your natural stride length for low-fatigue hill climbing. When it’s time to descend, a quick twist locks the highback into a responsive down-camber alignment. Because the system utilizes the exact same touring brackets and puck footprints as traditional Spark T1 and Burton Hitchhiker hardware, it mounts seamlessly across any puck system (Voile, Spark, or Burton) to ensure an ultra-low profile footprint and instantaneous edge power.
