Brighton Resort marked the start of the 2012/2013 winter season here in Utah by opening their lifts on Tues. Nov. 12th, 2012. They opened up with a 39″ base and started running Majestic and Snake lifts with Crest soon to follow.
Like any good blogger, I dipped out of my 7:30am class and flew up Big Cottonwood Canyon to the beautiful sight of blue skies and long lift lines. The mini park wasn’t quite built up yet, so I made my way to Snake lift a bombed groomers til I found some homies. After a quick adult beverage at the car, we hit the mini park and made our way back to Snake, because who doesn’t love going as fast as possible down some slick corduroy?
A couple days earlier, Burton hosted a little preseason rail jam and high ollie contest. I unfortunately wasn’t able to stay long, but I nabbed a few pictures that I threw into the slide show.
Hopefully you all get a chance to shred in the coming days and we get another massive dump very very soon! Cheers.
Here’s what I was listening too while I ripped turns and slashed skiers!
