Get to Know Your Shop Guy #3 – Andrew Taylor Interview

1. Alright Mr. Taylor, you know the drill! Basics first, what is your name and where are from?

A:  Andrew “Mop” Taylor, Sacramento, CA

2. Describe yourself as if you are filling out a bio for an online dating site.

A:  I love good times and good people. And there’s nothing better than live music. During the evening I like a bottle of wine, a warm friendly female and listening to Bon Iver.

3. Why Utah? What brought you to this great state?

A: The mountains, my friends, and the beautiful ladies.

4. What is your job title and what are your duties around the shop?

A: I am a salesman extraordinaire. I sell all snow and skate goods and am the Men’s Softgoods Buyer.

5. Around here people call you Mop, and word on the street is you have a tattoo on your buttocks of “Mop for life.” Please share with us the origin of that nickname and the story behind the tattoo.

A: I have had long, moppy, dready hair since I was a freshman in high school. A fellow co-worker, Trevor, told everyone at the shop what my nickname was, so therefore, I accepted it deep into my heart and deep into my butt skin. My friends said they would pay for the tattoo so I got it.

6. Sport of choice! Are you a skater? Snowboarder? Mountainboarder?

A:  I love all popsicle shaped boards, but if I had to pick one, my true love is the snowboard.
