Ordos is a planned city, built in just 5 years, designed to show off the wealth that China accrued over the past few decades. Many call it the Dubai of China, and just like Dubai, it is an overbuilt, modern city with water issues and a lot less residents than expected. Ordos was designed to house 1,000,000 people yet only 28,000 residents have moved in, and most of those people are construction workers or the elderly. Why am I telling you this? Because it’s an amazing place to go skate! All the concrete and marble is new and untouched. There’s no one to worry about slamming into because no one lives there! The police force is bored out of their mind and would rather watch you shred than stare at the sky. It’s a skate-wonderland! Now, watch these guys do what that do.
