Description
Built to conquer the deepest days on the map, the all-new 2027 Burton Family Tree Full Nelson balances loose, surf-inspired powder flow with dependable, big-mountain stability. Taking design cues from the celebrated Crowsnest 2.0 chassis and modifying the waist with a subtle nose shape overhaul paying tribute to Craig Kelly, this deck is optimized for navigating steep tree lines, diving off pillow lines, and blasting down open powder faces. It relies on a 6mm taper that naturally allows the tail to sink into deep packs, keeping your nose high with minimal back-leg effort, yet maintains a progressive sidecut profile so it feels crisp and responsive when navigating hard resort terrain switch.
Under the hood, the Full Nelson features a Directional Camber contour, placing high-energy traditional camber through the center and under both feet to guarantee maximum edge hold on ice and variable chunder, while an early-rise rockered nose delivers effortless float. Distinctive tail wingers built into the rear profile actively boost lift, glide, and planing performance when working through heavy, deep conditions. Hand-crafted using Burton’s ultra-light Super Fly II 700G Core, Triax fiberglass layers, and a wax-hungry Sintered WFO base, this premium freeride tool delivers lightning-fast acceleration and precision tracking across off-piste zones.
