The GNU Freedom bindings are the flagship of rear entry bindings. Rather than the traditional strap and ratchet to get in, there is a clip on the top of the highback and when pullled, the highback opens up allowing for a faster entry with the same response! Something GNU includes in all of their bindings is an auto release on the ankle strap so when pulling down the highback, the strap automatically loosens for an easier fit that can be micro adjusted after.
The all aluminum chassis and fully encapsulating toe cap pull the boot into the heelcup allowing for more direct energy to be transfered from heel to toe.
