The main dial controls the front laces while the secondary side dial controls a cable the pulls the ankle together for the best heel hold. The Photon Boot is for the hard charger who wants the most comfortable but yet supportive boot for the best of both worlds. With big mountain features like a Vibram outsole for maximum durability as well as the best grip on hardpack or ice, and the B3 Gel insole for a cushioning ride when hitting booters or landing flat. The heat reflective foil keeps the sole and toes of the boot warm by radiating the riders body heat back into the boot to reduce the cold feet to keep you shredding and where you want to be. Coverage is limited to bindings from 2005 until the present.
