The backbone of the Torrent’s precision fit is the H4 BOA® Focus Fit System paired with Ride’s patented Tongue Tied™ Hybrid Harness. By utilizing two dedicated BOA® dials, you can fine-tune the upper and lower shell zones independently, while the side-dial-activated Tongue Tied™ system pulls the boot’s tongue directly down and back into the heel pocket. This eliminates the need for a bulky internal harness, providing zero heel lift and instantaneous edge-to-edge response without uncomfortable pressure points. Built using In2grated™ Construction, the liner is factory-molded inside the shell to deliver the lightest-weight, shortest-footprint boot in its class, reducing toe and heel drag.
Inside, the heat-moldable Intuition™ Dream Liner features multi-density foam surrounded by a supportive skeletal structure for maximum rebound and customized foot retention. To keep odors at bay and feet comfortable on long days, the liner is wrapped in Black Gold™ Bamboo Charcoal Mesh, which naturally mitigates moisture and regulates temperature.
