Carbonium Topsheet: A very durable, scratch and chip resistant material with a unique look and extra grip to act like a stomp pad.

Carbonium Laminate Technology: More carbon equals more power and performance. The new Carbonium Laminate technology combines an advanced top and base carbon matrix to maximize torsional response and strength where it’s needed most. The result is a lightweight yet powerful design that will keep the Carbonum Series boards going strong for years.

Rocker/Camber Technology: R.C. Technology is the best of both worlds. It giver you reverse camber between your feet and outside your bindings for amazing float and quickness edge to edge. The two zones of regular camber directly under your feet combined with the Vario Power Grip Sidecut give amazing edge hold as well as pop and drive.

Vario Power Grip Sidecut: Adds 3 extra contact points on each sidecut for ultimate edge hold in even the roughest of snow conditions.

STS Pretensioned Fiberglass: This fiberglass is pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered laminate that has added elastomer stringers between the0 degree and 90 degree glass fibers the length of the effective edge. This produces a stronger bond between the individual glass laminates giving out snowboard unmatched strength edge hold and performance.

Bi-Lite Fiberglass: This combines many of the strength characteristics of STS Advanced fiberglass with an ultra light glass fiber matrix. This delivers incredible freestyle and freeride performance without sacrificing durability.

NS Superlight Wood Core: This core blends extremely light wood with durable hardwood for unmatched strength to weight ratio. It takes their Custom Flightcore even further and was designed for the Carbonium series.

CDS Damping System: The Carbonium Damping System (CDS) greatly reduces vibration and provides unmatched high speed stability and control. Thin elastomeric rubber stringers reduce vibration from the metal edge and surrounding laminates. Stringers below the inserts an under the carbon dampen any additional vibration near the bindings, giving the Carbonium Series boards a smooth riding feel underfoot without sacrificing snap and power throughout the board.

Sintered P-Tex Sidewall: Unlike conventional ABS sidewalls that have a tendency to crack in colder temperatures, Sintered P-Tex Sidewalls maintain their integrity at any temperature.

Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 Base: Crown Plastics has developed an exclusive, super fast, durable sintered base specifically for the Raptor and Heritage. Just the right amount of graphite has been added making the Durasurf 5501 XT base the fastest we’ve ever used.

P-Tex Tip and Tail Protection: Extra bumpers in the tip and tail to prevent denting and delaminating.

Full Wrap Metal Edge: The edge wraps all the way around to the board to prevent blowing up the tip and tail in a collision.
