At its core, the Liberty features Hybrid Shell Construction, which expertly blends a durable ABS hard shell on top for impact resistance where it’s needed most, with a lightweight In-Mold lower shell for reduced weight and improved ventilation. This advanced construction is further enhanced by Aerocore™ Construction featuring Zonal Koroyd® coverage. Koroyd®, a unique honeycomb-like material, acts as a crumple zone, absorbing more kinetic energy during impact than traditional materials while also dramatically increasing airflow for superior temperature regulation.

For advanced rotational impact protection, the Liberty helmet is equipped with the MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) Brain Protection System. MIPS® is a low-friction layer positioned between the helmet’s outer shell and the liner, designed to allow the helmet to slide relative to the head during certain angled impacts, thereby reducing the rotational forces transmitted to the brain.

Comfort and adaptability are paramount with the Liberty. The VaporFit™ Adjustable Fit System uses a precise rotary dial that provides a 270-degree micro-adjustment, ensuring a snug, personalized, and secure fit without any pressure points. The Regulator Adjustable Climate Control system allows for easy, one-handed adjustment of its 20 vents, enabling you to fine-tune airflow to match the weather conditions and your activity level, keeping you comfortable whether you’re working hard on an ascent or enjoying a windy descent.

The AirEvac™ Ventilation system is meticulously designed to integrate seamlessly with Smith goggles, pulling warm, fog-causing air away from your eyewear to maintain clear vision. Inside, the XT2® or Ionic+™ Anti-bacterial Performance Lining offers sweat-activated odor control for all-day freshness. Removable Snapfit SL2 Ear Pads provide warmth and are audio-chip compatible, allowing for easy integration of your preferred audio system (sold separately).
