Description
The Used Donek 186 Freecarve Snowboard is an elite, high-velocity alpine racing machine engineered by the custom master builders at Donek for advanced riders who want to lay down extreme, armpit-dragging carves on hardpack and ice. Measuring a commanding 186 centimeters in length, this board maximizes effective edge contact and high-speed tracking, functioning like a high-performance GS (Giant Slalom) racing ski built for maximum stability at blistering speeds.
Constructed with an uncompromised, traditional full camber profile, the Freecarve delivers explosive energy transfer from edge to edge and incredible rebound out of the turn apex. Donek’s world-renowned craftsmanship incorporates a specialized core construction consisting of tight wood laminates reinforced with triaxial fiberglass and structural rubber dampening layers. This internal architecture effectively neutralizes high-frequency surface vibration, keeping the board completely glued to the snow through heavy, high-G force trench digging. Designed primarily to be ridden with hardboots and stiff, high-angle plate bindings, this long-wheelbase board provides an ultra-stable, surgical platform for competitive racing or pure, technical carving.
Note: There is some chipping on the topsheet of the board that can be found near the tail. Both boards still have structure built into the base and are completely sealed from water.
