Summit Downhill Showdown Registration

The Summit Downhill Showdown is a brand new event here in Utah, but it is sure to become a staple in both the local and national race scenes. The event is near Cedar City, UT from June 17th – 20th with two days of freeriding, one day of qualifying races, and one day for the main race, all on a closed off/baled course. Let’s also not forget the three nights of camping and partying with some of the best skaters in the country including our very own Micah Green, Alex Fishburn, and Trevor Ovenden, along with a few of the other #SaltysTeam boys, so it’ll definitely be an incredible event! The race is $250 with 128 total spots, so be sure to follow the link below to register ASAP! Enjoy a course preview below as well, and for up to date details, “like” them on Facebook, join the event page, and follow @summit.downhill.showdown on Instagram! In case you need more convincing, here’s some testimonials of the course from some sick skaters!

“That road is amazingly fun, with different sections ranging from full tuck to edge to edge cornering. I could skate it all day with that amount of diversity, it is definitely a worthy course of holding an event.”
-Dillon Stephens

“Without a doubt the raddest hill I have ever skated. Beats any race hill I’ve been to in Australia, USA and Europe.”
-Connor Ferguson

“Action packed, demanding, fast, unique combinations of corners and sweepers. Ideal for core speed boarders and free riders alike.”
-Andrew Chapman

“I really enjoyed everything about this hill! The road is fast and technical. It’s not that often you get to skate a hill that pushes your limits, but I can honestly say that this one does. It is awesome!”
-Mauritz Armfelt

“The Summit DH location is the fastest technical drifting hill I have ever skated. The variety of speed and corners is unmatched anyway in North America. It is the top north american hill for me in 2015. This hill consumes urethane and can be compared to the famous one way DH run in Malibu or Angies curves but wider.”
-Lee Cation
