Salty Peaks Snowboard Team – Weekly Roundup 1.18.2013

photo:BLong – FWT

Let’s start this week’s team roundup with team rider Shannan Yates-Cochrane. I emailed Shannan last week and asked her if she had a cool photo or something she could send my way. She responded that she had just won the 2013 Women’s Freeride World Tour Revelstoke! Needless to say, I was stoked! If you don’t know her, meet Shannan Yates-Cochrane.

Next up we got our buddy Tyler Morton! Tyler hit me up this week and let me know he landed his first backcountry double back flip and soon he will have a video edit to prove it. Can’t wait to see that! Here’s a photo from his session to give you a small taste.

It’s been a while since we caught up with Micah Hoogeveen but that’s because he’s been slaying the pow in Montana!

Here’s a teaser that Micah has been working on with Jason Robinson, Todd Kirby, Lucas Debari and Kyle Miller. Should make for a great series starting on January 31!

Micah just finished another edit that is available now with Bomb Snow Magazine. It’s a nice long travel video but if you just want to get to Micah’s spot, fast forward to about 5:30. The guys headed up to Red Resort in British Columbia, Canada, and shredded miles of deep pow.

Next up we got Chris Frost with a few shots from his upcoming end of season edit!

The top shot is Frost doing a back 3 tuck knee in Park City and down below we have a stalefish to frontboard at the Horse Park in Dimple Dell. Frosty is killing it and you can see more on his instagram: @minnesnowtafrost.

Last but not least we have a few more flicks from Team Rider Mark Rainery. Mark just finished up a tidy trip to Juneau, Alaska, a place many of us will never even see – let alone shred. The following photos feature Mark in Juneau and were shot by Chris Miller.
