Micah Hoogeveen has some nice parts in this edit dedicated to his friend Aaron Robinson. Micah, Kyle Miller, Todd Kirby, Lucas Debari and J-Rob headed to a secret Montana zone along with a group from the Smash Life banked slalom to remember friend and brother Aaron Robinson. They honored him in the best way they could, assaulting pillow lines side-by-side in true A-Rob fashion, with style, speed and relentless energy. This video was filmed, edited and directed by Eli Weiner.

Shannan Yates has had yet another successful week placing 6th in the Pro Women’s category at the Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom competition. I had the chance to meet up with her yesterday and she had this to say about the comp.
“I was honored to get another opportunity to participate in the longest running snowboard event in its 28th year! It is so amazing to be up at the start and to ride the course with so many legends of snowboarding! I love being in the iconic start hut at the beginning of the race tagged with various quotes like “go fast”, “stay low, be powerful” and “say your prayers!” I finished 6th in the pro women’s division, and am proud of this result since I am up against olympic gold medalists and some of the world’s top shredding women! My fastest time for the finals was 1:44.969 and those two minutes are extraordinary! I was panting and my legs were burning at the bottom of the run, but I was just thrilled to have made all the gates and I had a huge smile on my face! I love the Mt. Baker Legendary Banked Slalom comp and I hope to compete in many more.”
