The time of the year is upon us when the snow shredding season is coming to an end. Some of you are probably fortunate enough to heading West for the warmer months to places like Mt. Hood where the shred stays alive year round, but for the rest of us, the end is near. There is, however, an ancient art form that one can master in order to take full advantage of the these remaining days. I am of course referring to the art of Slush Surfing.
Luckily for all of us, Salty Peaks’ own Dennis Nazari aka Shred Johnson just so happens to be Snowbird’s resident slush surfer, and was kind enough to whip together this video of all the tricks and tips you need to keep surfing the white wave long into the spring. Enjoy a glimpse of Shred’s wet n’ warm paradise, and be sure to follow his Slush Surf Report as spring rolls on into summer and we inevitably swap metal edges for urethane wheels. Cheers.
