There’s no denying it, fall is in the air and snowboarding season is almost upon us. However, while snowy mountains and endless powder might be on our minds, this is actually my favorite time to skateboard. The air is cool but not freezing cold, the colorful scenery makes for epic backdrops, and you don’t get crazy sweaty every time you skate. I was reminded of all these awesome advantages to fall skating when I stumbled across this sick short film by photographer and filmmaker, Ian Durkin. It shows a group of friends skating at various spots and wilderness around Vermont, and if you ask me, it looks like a real good time. So take a quick break from the daily grind and check out a glimpse of the fun to be had in the fall. If you have a few extra minutes, follow this link to The Atlantic for a cool interview with Mr. Durkin himself. Cheers.
