This is sick. I don’t know why this technology isn’t built into every skateboard/bike/shopping cart/wheelchair/dolly/line striper/hamster wheel. I mean, who wouldn’t want to get a hamster so they can lower their power bill?Anyways, Bjorn van den Hout a student at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam, Netherlands, came up with the concept of the Chargeboard: a charging system that works when you push your longboard. Also it has an onboard battery that recharges while you ride and you can use that power to play music through the built in speakers or recharge your phone up to 8 times! This is sick, and I’m sure if this dude did a kickstarter not only would he sell a ton but they could probably shrink down the size of the package. Check out the photos and video!
