Like all shred-addicts we here at Salty Peaks have been hopin’ and prayin’ for some big dumps… of snow of course. The good people over at Wasatch Snow Forecast have some great news for all those in the same boat as us:
“Monday could be a good powder day if you’re able to take the day off work. It’s a bit early to start talking snowfall totals, but it looks like moderate amounts to me, that usually means anywhere from 4-18″, which is a huge range. So we’ll probably just have to fine tune it as we get closer. I think 6-12″ is more likely.”
With recent conditions, this is excellent news! Not to mention snow fall should begin sometime Saturday, so there could be even more accumulating over those three days. They mentioned another perk earlier in the post:
“…it will increase winds today and scour out the valleys which are mildly inverted.”
The only good inversion is no inversion! We know all things weather-related are very up in the air (pun-intended) so hopefully I’m not getting all our hopes up, but at this point, any snow is good snow!
