Yesterday marked the first annual Salty’s Slush Surfin’ Safari at Brighton and it could not have been better! It was a bluebird day, got up to about 60° F, and the whole crew + friends came out to ride! We hung out at the Millicent Lift (Milly) all day laying down epic slush slashes, powering through hot chowda, and jumping off anything we could find. Enjoy some pictures from the day and we hope all of you can make it next year!
No slush surfin’ day would be complete with some serious grilling and adult beverages.
A little shameless product plug for Jones and Rome Snowboards.
Zac and Rily were a little too excited about their meat and cigarettes.
D-Naz was hyped to slush surf on that Lib Tech Birdman swallowtail.
Some of our snow team riders were able to make it to Brighton to throw down and enjoy some fun in the sun. Here’s Evan Wilcox with a solid backflip.
Evan’s got methods dialed too.
This is what the trip was all about, serious slush surfin’.
Tyler Morton with a nose grab slush slash.
Kyle Harmon going to fast for the camera.
Kyle again with a 360 tail grab.
And lastly, a serious cliff drop into the hot chowda.
There you have it! Thanks again to everyone who came out, can’t wait to do this again next year! Cheers.
