The Tony Hawk foundation does it again for skaters. The foundation just donated $30,000 to the Ride It Sculpture Park in Detroit a project that has been built up by locals for a few years now. Tony Hawk has always been a good guy of skating and he got flack for that most of his life. Being a good guy is starting to look very cool. Watch this documentary about Ride It and the interview with Tony regarding his donation. If you are reading this and don’t have a skatepark near your place…build one. There’s nothing more fun then pouring concrete with your friends and creating your own space to skate. (Just check local laws and work with the city or expect it to be demolished if you don’t own the land)
