Uphill Travel Policies
If you just can’t possibly wait until the chairs start spinning uphill travel is still allowed at almost every resort. Be sure to check in with your local resort before hitting the slopes. During certain times there can be restrictions on uphill travel due to snow making equipment, dangerous conditions, and/or trail improvements.
Pre-season split boarding is a perfect way to get the legs moving for the season and test out your equipment in nice and easy going terrain. Lack of snow exposes rocks and other obstacles that are typically covered during the regular season. In preseason be sure to plan an easy route. You still have the whole season to ride.
Solitude- PRESEASON UPHILL TRAVEL POLICY (uphill travel is currently CLOSED, check this page daily for updates)
Brighton- Always check the stoplight on the top of the main lodge at Brighton and this page. If it is green you are good to go. Yellow means caution and stay on designated split routes. Red is no go.
Park City- Don’t text uphill to (435) 244-1769 because the number isn’t working and instead call the main office or check in here.
