Weekend at Brian Head’s – Photos

Brian Head Resort Salty Peaks Snowboard Team

After three days and two nights amongst the stunning red rocks of Southern Utah, we have returned to the salty valley. The #SaltysTeam rolled deep to Brian Head Resort for some serious fun in the sun with Tyler Hubbell, Taylor Miller, Dave Van Wagenen, Josiah Goedecke, Connor Conklin, Amanda Evanstad, and Fifty Shades of Clay Kinahan as well as our boy Carl Spangrude manning the camera. For those of you that live in Salt Lake City, the 3 1/2 hour drive might sound daunting, but it’s really quite a smooth ride that goes by really fast. If you get the chance, I’d HIGHLY recommend making the trek down to Brian Head! It is seriously the most beautiful place with epic views of red rock cliffs and mountains from the lifts. The terrain was super fun, the park crew kills it, and everyone we met was incredibly rad and friendly. Real quick, I need to extend a HUGE, MASSIVE thank you to everyone at Brian Head, but especially Adele, Alexis, Noah, and Mary Ann for making this an incredible trip and for hooking us dirt bags up with a ton of lift tickets and an amazing hotel room. Thanks guys!

The trip itself was genuinely the most fun I’ve had on a snowboard in quite some time. There’s just something incredible about riding with a big crew of homies, especially in an amazing new place. As if we weren’t spoiled enough by the mountain itself, we got to ball out in the Grand Lodge, complete with The Lift bar, pool, and two hot tubs! Needless to say some serious soaking and partying went down to keep the good times rolling into the night. All in all, the team certainly came correct, got a ton of sick shots, and had a blast.  We even ended up with a new team motto, “Do it naked”, but you’ll just have to stay tuned for our Weekend at Brian Head’s edit to find out why! But for now, enjoy these pictures, and be sure to follow @saltypeaksboardshop@brianhead_terrainpark, and @brianheadresort on Instagram to stay up to date on all the action. Cheers!

Made a pit stop on the way home at Cedar Breaks National Monument, just 2 minutes up the road!

One last thing! Noah, the Terrain Park Manager, was telling us about a rad event they’re putting on at the end of April after all other resorts are closed. Basically, they’re going to re-open one lift and create a top to bottom terrain park. EPIC. Do whatever you have to to make sure you can join in the spring chaos because it’s going to be an amazing time and the #SaltysTeam will definitely be there in full force!
