Well, for once, this is a good story for cops & skaters. Leave it to Wyoming to do something like this. Lander, WY police worked with local businesses like Ken & Betty’s Main Street Ice Cream & the Pit Stop to provide free soda and ice cream to any kid who shows up with a ticket from the police. In other words the tickets are a good thing, a reward for wearing a helmet and not dying in a stupid accident. It’s nice to see something like this happening. The only downside I see is those kids who get mad tickets, eat too much ice cream and end up skating like this guy…
I lol every damn time at that.
I also think I should give a shoutout to local attorney Robert J. DeBry for subsidizing helmets for 130,000 children in his $5-$10 helmet program.
