2021/2022 Utah Season Pass Info & Deadlines – Prices Going Up Soon!

It’s that time of year when the season is over and you begin to clear your thoughts of those glorious champagne powder days, bluebird groomer cruising, and park laps with the squad. Until you realize that you already missed the first deadlines from virtually every season pass and now you’re paying more money because you didn’t check social media for a few days. If you’re like me and missed the first round of season pass deadlines, fret no more.

There are plenty of articles breaking down prices on all the season pass options but no one seems to know when the prices go up. After pestering the social media and emails of all the different resorts in Utah, we compiled this (quite sassy) list of prices and deadlines from each resort and pass options (minus Ikon & Solitude…they’re really dodging the situation). There are a few deadlines coming up around the end of May or the beginning of June so make your decisions quick!

Beaver
Quick shout out to beaver for keeping it simple with their pricing layout. Every resort gets way too extra from here. The Beav is a real sleeper resort with insanely mellow crowds but not exactly the closest option if you’re down in the SLC area. Further details about Beaver can be found here.

  • $375 student (6th grade to college)
  • $100 senior (70+)
  • $375 military (Active, reserve, retired, vets, spouses, and dependents)

Adult passes go up June 15th

Brighton
Brighton with a sneaky $100+ price jump this year.. At least they’re not charging for parking though, right? The Brighton w/ Ikon is basically a Big Cottonwood Canyon pass and is a pretty nice option for side-country access. Further details found here.

Twilight Season Pass (2pm to close, unlimited)

Solitude
Their layout is strange since they are trying to get you to buy the Ikon pass (and a parking pass) (yes we’re still upset about the paid parking) and their main adult pass is the Ikon Pass but there are still some options if you only want to ride Soli this season. Their parking pass is $275 for the season with $25 off for renewal (wow so generous) or $150 for midweek parking. Parking passes will go on sale in June. Further details on Solitude here.

  • $2299 ultimate family pass (2 adults, 2 jr unlimited)
  • $699 midweek (m-f unlimited)
  • $479 teen (13-17)
  • $279 youth (5-12)
  • $29 child (0-4)

The price deadline is early fall. I reached out to many people about a specific date and was not given a clear answer. When on the phone with Ikon customer service they told me in previous years the deadline was in October but as of now, they do not have a set date.

Snowbird
Everyone’s favorite resort. Gnarly terrain with gnarlier ego and weekend lift lines. Sorry, only jokes. I’m just another transplanted self-proclaimed “local” who is upset that the masses eventually realized how rad Snowbird terrain is. Lift accessed south-facing terrain in the Wasatch? Not a single other resort around the SLC area can claim that. They revoked their reserved parking for this season but with Alta charging for parking (that’s another rant for another day), it may stir things up at the Bird. Further info on Bird passes here.

Summit Pass (unlimited Bird, no blackouts) able to upgrade to Ikon Base for $269 more.

  • $1049 Adult (26-64)
  • $749 Senior (65+)
  • $749 Young Adult (19-25)

  • $449 Teen (13-18)
  • $299 Youth (7-12)
  • $49 Child (6 & Under)
  • $2099 Summit 4-pack (2 adults, 2 kids 18 & under).

Ten-2-Share Pass

  • $699 (Transferable but only one pass can be used per day).

Flex-4 Pass

  • $349 Adult (13-64)
  • $309 Senior (65+)
  • $219 Youth (7-12)

Payment plans available w/ $50 down

Prices go up June 10th

Snowbasin
Another sleeper resort that people are starting to realize is not that far from SLC. It’s either you wait in the red snake of death going up to Big or Little Cottonwood canyon for an hour to two hours or drive an hour up to Basin. Further details on passes here.

Premier Pass

  • $959 Adult (27-64)
  • $739 Young Adult (19-26)

Brianhead
For the southern Utah folk, Brianhead absolutely goes. Their power pass is a pretty legit option to get some days in at other resorts. More deets on their passes here.

Cherry Peak
Decent option for you Loganites trying to get some quick turns in without driving up the canyon. Huge bonus that they have night riding as well. Surprisingly enough, Cherry Peak has some fun off-piste drops and pillow poppers if you know where you’re going. Good people with more than fair prices. More info on Cherry Peak.

Another shoutout to Eagle Point for keeping it simple, being clear on deadlines, and overall transparency about how much their pass will be after that deadline. Full breakdown listed on their site.

  • $429 Young Adult (18-24)
  • $379 Military
  • $379 College

October 21st deadline. After that prices rise 20-50.

Sundance
Prices not yet released. Not sure what that’s all about but seeing as they still haven’t upgraded their comedically slow lifts, it’s about on par. After a quick google search, I’m eating my words but refuse to delete that second sentence because I think it’s funny. In an article from Salt Lake Tribune, Sundance is allegedly adding two new lifts! One high-speed quad is replacing Rays lift, which will make for only a 7-minute ride to the backside from the former 20-minute ride. Maybe by the time I post this, they will have updated their site.

Nordic Valley
Ya know, it’s a little pricey for what it is but if you’re going to bounce around then this pass can pay itself off. Word on the street is that Nordic Valley is putting in a high-speed detachable 6-person lift and will be ready before this upcoming season. This new lift will run 1400 vertical feet and will add about 50 acres of rideable terrain the first year but they are planning on expanding a total of 300 acres in the next few seasons. For the full deets from Nordic Valley, go visit their page.

  • $349 Youth (13-18)
  • $349 Senior (65+)

Woodward
Ah yes, the new Utah snowboard country club. A sick alternative option for those who want to session perfectly sculpted features but not deal with the crazy crowds at the larger resorts. The price deadline is early fall. I reached out to many people about a specific date and was not given a clear answer. When on the phone with their customer service they told me in previous years the deadline was in October but as of now, they do not have a set date.

Mountain Collective
Interesting option of the multi-pass selection. 2 days at each resort for a total of 46 days then 50% off any additional day. No Blackouts. Bonus third day at the resort of your choosing. The only resort in Utah for snowboarding with this pass is Snowbird but if you’re going to travel around, Big Sky, A-Basin, Targhee, and Jackson aren’t too far. Check out all 23 resorts on Mountain Collective Pass here.

  • $519 Adult (14+)
  • $419 Teens (13-18)

Indy Pass
66+ total resorts with 2 days at each. Indy pass gives you two passes at select resorts. Powder Mountain and Beaver Mountain are the only Utah resorts included with this pass but if you are planning some trips, there are plenty of Indy resorts out west to possibly make it worth your while. This deal applies to any 5th or 6th grader in the world. Looks like they haven’t posted them for sale yet but keep checking this link to see when they update for the 21/22 season.

Big thanks to the resorts and multi-passes that had all this information laid out for me to convey back to you. This is NOT a paid article in any way, shape, or form. This is genuinely written because it was difficult to find exact dates of when to purchase season passes before. Another big thank you to Ski Utah for making an easy-to-use article that I used information from as well. They go a little more in-depth on specifics than I did so please go give their article a read over at Ski Utah.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading! I hope you can see through my pseudo-narcissistic and satirical tone and realize I’m just a shop guy busting jokes. If you see me on the hill, say what’s up! I’ll be wearing the baggiest denim pants you’ve ever seen and a super cool neon green bandana flapping behind with terrible dubstep blasting through my backpack speakers. Lastly, remember that you are the best rider on the mountain and make sure to inform everyone. On an actually serious ending note, I hope this helped you figure out your pass choice for this next season! Peace!
