Rome designs with positive camber because many snowboarders prefer the super responsive, high-pop feel that only it can deliver. From most of their team riders to shop kids in the Syndicate, a ton of riders will strap into nothing else than positive camber for the entire running length.

The Root Is The Turn

Construction:

HotRods: Carbon Single Barrel— One rod of preloaded energy in the nose and another in the tail that takes power from your bindings and snaps it through your turns and hits.  Pure ollie and nollie power without unwanted torque.

Powerbars: Carbon V-- More power, more energy, and more carbonation!  Pre-formed bands of lightweight carbon to guarantee pop.

PressurePop Tech: Kevlar V— Found in our high-end boards with fast power transfer from the bindings to your contact points with the snow; a lethal combination of ultra-light material and highly responsive snap.

AirPop Core Matrix: Heavy on the non-heavy side of the spectrum (it’s superlight) with five zonal regions of low density wood mixed with poplar for high energy transmission and a responsive reaction—The foundation to the Mod and Mod Rocker.

StraightTriax45 Laminate: Power specific and manufactured for the rider who is looking for precise pop and quick responding carves that snap from edge to edge.   The 45-degree off-axis fibers provide the grip and kick that lovers of the turn are looking for.

SinterSpeed Base: Bomb hills and straight-line runs—absorbing the most wax a base can handle, this ultra porous sintered technology creates a board with maximum speed output, and minimal input.

Kevlar Impact Plates: Directly under the bindings is the most vulnerable area of any snowboard. With extreme amounts of force being directed towards the baseplates, compression and stress needs to be eliminated and absorbed as much as possible.  Made from Kevlar, Basalt or Glass, Impact Plates reduce compressions by 2 times.
