The Anti Hero Grant Taylor “Maka Lassi” DBX Deck is a high-performance skateboard featuring Deluxe Basalt (DBX) technology. This innovative construction is designed to be lighter, thinner, and stronger than a traditional 7-ply maple deck, offering an ultra-responsive feel and long-lasting pop.

The DBX build uses three layers of interwoven basalt (volcanic rock fibers) combined with four standard-thickness interior veneers and two thinner face veneers. This creates a “backbone” that enhances the wood’s natural resonance and prevents the deck from getting “soggy” over time.
