Originally released during Mervin Manufacturing’s golden eras of hybrid camber innovation (featuring legendary graphics like the Blue Girl Silhouette), the Phoenix C2BTX was custom-built to match Jamie Lynn’s famous “All-Speed, All-The-Time” approach to the mountain.

The Wide (157W) variant was specifically tailored for riders with larger boots who needed a broader platform to completely eliminate toe and heel drag while charging at high speeds. Combining a freestyle-friendly directional twin outline with a stout, aggressive flex, this deck was designed to float over deep Mt. Baker powder stash zones, stomp massive transitions, and blast down groomers with absolute stability.

H-Pop Core & Basalt Alloy Layout: Built around the legacy H-Pop wood alloy matrix, this core delivers maximum compression response and explosive pop with a fraction of the glue and resin weight of standard cores. It is reinforced with volcanic Basalt fiber bands to damp heavy vibrations when coming in hot on deep landings.
Correct Sandwich Construction & Bio-Beans Topsheet: Features a lightweight, spin-friendly design that trims weight from the tips for easier rotation. The shell is capped with a tough, eco-friendly bio-plastic topsheet made from castor bean oils rather than harsh, toxic plastics.

C2 Power Banana Camber / Banana Blend (C2BTX): Mervin’s favorite blend for aggressive power snowboarders pushing the envelope. Rocker between your feet blended with a radial camber to contact points. Focuses pressure between your feet for easy turns, great edge hold on ice and our maximum amount of pressure to the tip and tails for power end-to-end stability, pop and maximum control in critical situations while maintaining float.
Magne-Traction (MTX): Magne-Traction serrated edges cut into the snow like a knife giving you more edge hold and control than ever before. Magne-Traction features 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut. The Biggest bumps are at and between your feet where your balance is centered adding maximum control and power where you need it most. The bumps outside your feet are smaller and less aggressive providing tip and tail control but maintaining freestyle freedom. Magne-Traction is wiggles that work. Viva Technology.
Directional Twin: Effortless freestyle and freeride geometry. Twin chassis (from contact to contact) but with an ever so slightly longer nose than tail. Floats on powder and blasts thru crud, a Twin with an advantage.
TnT Base Material: Fast and low maintenance dual layered fluoro base material. Wax it or maybe skip a day. Use Oneballjay snowboard wax.
Correct Sandwich: SUPER LIGHT SPIN WEIGHT! The perfect blend of pickles and mustard. UHMW sidewalls, Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls, torsionally loose. The new kids think they are new!
Double Sintered UHMW Sidewalls: A Lib Tech innovation. Twice as sintered as any other sidewall. Tough, handsome and light.
Basalt: Basalt is produced in a clean, pure process consisting of high heat and absent of toxic additives. Not only is it safer for humans, it’s easier to recycle. Basalt fiber has strength properties much higher than fiberglass and better damping properties for a smooth ride.
H-Pop Core: Wood Alloy Core. Experimental new dead tree with the highest compression response ever used in a snowboard. It has half the glue weight and absorbs less resin weight. Another industry first for Lib Tech.
