The Lib Tech Banana Hammock Demo is a unique, high-performance freeride snowboard from Lib Tech’s experiMENTAL Division. In this case, the “Demo” designation signifies that this board has been ridden before, having been used for testing or in-store trials. It is in good condition but may show minor cosmetic wear and tear, such as small scuffs or marks, consistent with light prior use.

This board is a true product of the experiMENTAL Division, built with a singular focus: to provide a surfy, effortless feel in deep powder. Its standout feature is its highly specialized shape and sidecut. Unlike a traditional snowboard with a concave sidecut, the Banana Hammock utilizes a reverse sidecut (convex). This unique, outward-curving sidecut is designed to prevent the nose and tail from catching in deep, uneven snow, dramatically enhancing float and giving the board a loose, surf-like feel that is unlike any other snowboard.

The Banana Hammock features a full Tip-to-Tail Rocker (TTTR) profile. This continuous rocker from nose to tail is what provides its incredible, effortless float, allowing you to stay centered over the board in powder without needing to lean back. The board also includes Lib Tech’s core technologies like Magne-Traction®, which provides seven strategically placed edge serrations. While the reverse sidecut and rocker profile make it drifty and playful, the Magne-Traction helps provide some much-needed edge hold for hardpack and icy conditions on the way back to the lift. The board is constructed with a lightweight and durable blend of wood in the core and eco-friendly bio-plastic topsheets.
