The 2014 Burton snowboards lineup is in stock and ready to ship at Salty Peaks Snowboard Shop! We have 18 new snowboards in stock and I’m here to break them down for you so you know how to choose a snowboard that will best fit your needs.
The White Collection Pro snowboard is the exact same snowboard Shaun White rides in competitions around the world. How’s that for confidence in your gear? This snowboard has frostbite edges for when you leave the halfpipe 16 feet up in the air and when you want to hit top speed the WFO base keeps you in control. This board is designed tip to tail for freestyle. The 2014 TWC Pro has camber throughout bringing the pop-a-bility to 11. It also features the Channel binding system which can fit your old bindings or 2014 Burton bindings, and features the fastest most customizable setup of any board manufacturer, and on top of that it’s backed by a 3-year-warranty. This board features Infinite Ride™, a pre-broken in technique that makes your board maintain it’s flex and pop for years to come. Finally, the 2014 White Collection Pro features a Carbon I-Beam™, a carbon spine of sorts which gives you longitudinal snap and pop.
The 2014 Process Flying V is a great snowboard for freestylers and groomed trails and is loaded with new technology. This snowboard is equipped with Squeezebox to give you massive ollies as well as Smooth Ride™ shock absorption when landing major jumps. The Process Flying V has a softer flex than the Custom Flying V so keep that in mind when ordering. The 2014 Nug has the stability of a longer board and the powder abilities of a longer board with tons of float yet it is 8-10cm shorter. In other words it’s magic! So if you want to try riding a short board either in tight spaces or in the park this is it for you. The Burton Nug has continuous rocker and can ride park, groomers, or backcountry – your choice! It’s soft-medium stiffness with a standard width. Now, you can’t take a board and cut off 10cm and make it handle properly without a ton of tech so let me list that off for you now. The 2014 Restricted Nug is an upgrade to the standard Nug and was redesigned by the Burton team riders. Salty Peaks Snowboard Shop is one of the lucky few select authorized Burton retailers to carry this snowboard. The main differences between the Restricted Nug and the Nug is the Restricted has a reduced waist width, softer flex, and Off-Axis Frostbite for a dialed freestyle stance.
